Room Bio-Decontamination Service (RBDS)

Room Bio-Decontamination Service (RBDS)

  • Can be used to decontaminate any area, from single rooms or vehicles, to entire buildings
  • Complete range of solutions available to meet all requirements - emergency, scheduled or permanent on-site proactive decontamination options available.
  • Rapid cycles - 100m3 in under 2 hours, whole building in under 24 hours.
  • Flexible - areas can be decontaminated whenever needed, especially if there are bed pressures, or if downtime during the week would be considered too costly. In addition, as the process is residue-free, there is no need for post decontamination wipedown, further reducing the amount of time an area is out of action.
  • Completely safe process - Fully trained and experienced engineers operate and monitor all equipment during the decontamination cycles ensuring complete safety.
  • Fully validatable, verified and documented procedure to meet strict processing guidelines
  • HPV has excellent material compatibility so all sensitive electronic equipment can safely be left in the area being disinfected in the knowledge that there will be no detriment to performance or aesthetics following the cycle. All exposed surfaces in the area will be decontaminated.
Equipment Bio-Decontamination Service (EBDS)

Equipment Bio-Decontamination Service (EBDS)

  • Full bio-decontamination service for any equipment which has been compromised
  • Equipment held at negative pressure during decontamination cycle so the vapour cannot leak into the laboratory. This means work can carry on as usual in the laboratory whilst the cycle is taking place
  • First rate material compatibilty - no damage to electronics or other sensitive equipment
  • Broad range of equipment can be decontaminated including:
    • Biological safety cabinets
    • HEPA filtration enclosures
    • Incubators
    • Centrifuges
    • Robotic equipment
  • Equipment downtime is minimised, with faster cycle times than traditional methods as well as a residue-free result
  • HPV is a non-carcinogenic, safe and highly effective disinfectant which breaks down under catalytic action, making is environmentally friendly
